Divine Wine Boutique seeks out the smaller, less commercial wine farms in the Cape and brings their best cultivars to the glasses of wine lovers in the city. What’s more, it spotlights a different farm every Friday (from 5pm to 7pm) so you can meet their people, talk about the wine and, most importantly, taste it – for free.

JOIN THIS EVENT FOR WINE MAKERS + LOVERS 

Divine Wine Boutique is tucked away in Long Street, you won’t find it unless you know about it. The business began in 2019, with the goal of making wines from the Elgin Valley accessible to Cape Town.

Now it features smaller, boutique wine farms from around the Cape and it brings that farm experience to city dwellers. Come to the free tasting events every Friday and you’ll get to meet representatives from the farm, who mingle and talk about their favourite cultivars.

STAY FOR TAPAS

The wine-tasting bar also offers tapas and platters to share. There are 9 tasty bar dishes on the menu, ranging from mushroom arancini served with garlic aioli to Korean-inspired chicken wings glazed in gochujang sauce. Or order a hot platter with potato samosas, spanakopitas and other tasty snacks. The Asian Vegan platter includes spring rolls, wontons, cucumber salad and a range of Asian-inspired sauces.
