Celebrate Modern Africanness This Africa Day
Discover a new way of expressing African identity with local arts, crafts food and music

Regardless of race, creed or religious beliefs, we are all African people. So for Africa Day the guys from Afrofest are teaming with the Made In Africa label to bring us together for a festival of Arts, fashion and music.
The Africa Day Celebration takes place on 25 May at 42 Lower Main Road Observatory.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT
The aim of the festival is to discover a modern way of expressing the African identity through design, architecture, poetry and the performing arts.
The event will consist of a three part programme as well as live entertainment and a local traders selling authentic local goods.
The event programme is as follows:
1pm-5pm - arts and crafts exhibition
5pm-7pm - arts and crafts lessons
7pm-10pm - live performance by Digital Sangoma.
