The Minstrel Festival in Cape Town is an absolute ‘must see’ to experience this uniquely Cape Town carnival.
Venue: Athlone Stadium
Time: 14h00 onwards (usually 23h00 or later).
Price: VIP: R60 Adults: R30 Children: R15.
Route description to Athlone Stadium:
The Athlone Stadium along Klipfontein Road in Bridgetown, Athlone.
Travelling on the N2 freeway out of Cape Town, take the Jan Smuts Drive turnoff towards Strandfontein.
When you get to a set of traffic lights, at the Jan Smuts Drive / Klipfontein Road intersection, turn to the left.
Continue past the Joseph Stone Auditorium to the 2nd intersection. Turn left and continue around a bend in the road.
The entrance to the stadium will be on your right hand side on Klipfontein rd.
