Bring the Family to the Good Company Sunday Market in the CBD
You’ll be in good company at this Sunday market in the city
Most Capetonians love a ramble around a market on the weekend, and the Good Company Sunday Market is certainly one worth visiting.
The market happens in the Company’s Garden every Sunday from 10am to 3:30pm with something for every member of the family to enjoy.
This inner-city fete has crafters, bakers and candlestick makers from all around bringing you their best work. Munch on something fresh and delicious at one of the many food stalls as you wander around the craft displays where you’re guaranteed to find all kinds of gems.
What’s more, there’s also plenty to keep the little ones entertained – from pony rides to jumping castles and face painting. Plus, it’s the Company’s Garden, so there is plenty of room to run around. And a tired child makes for a happy and relaxed parent later in the day (Sunday afternoon nap, anyone?).
Expect everything from crafts to fashion to jewellery and homeware, to books and even craft beer at one of the many stalls that make up this magical market.
You didn’t think this was a dry event, did you? Not even a little bit… if anyone fancies a golden brew, local microbreweries will be in attendance to quench that thirst. If beer isn’t your thing, the Good Company Sunday Market will also have coffee and other drinks on sale to keep everyone happy and refreshed.
