Hosted by Autism Western Cape, this fun walk aims to raise awareness about autism, whilst also being an inclusive and accessible event for families and friends affected by the autism spectrum disorder. If you want to enjoy a lovely stroll in the sunshine whilst drinking in pretty views of the sea and help to raise money for an excellent cause then meet at Mouille Point on Saturday, 8 April 2017 at 9am, in time for registration. The walk starts at 10am.
All the money raised from the walk goes toward the organisation’s Adult Support Training and Mentorship programme, which primarily assists adults on the autism spectrum to find jobs and maintain these. Autism Western Cape is a non-profit initiative which provides counselling and support to those affected by the disorder, often to individuals who would otherwise not be able to afford assistance. Services are provided free of charge, and there’s no limit to the number of times people can request help.
The walk is a casual 5-km long, and begins and ends at Mouille Point Lighthouse. Bring your friends and family and get your takkies on to make a difference.
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2017 AUTISM AWARENESS FUN WALK AT MOUILLE POINT

Those who have a wish to make a donation to Autism Western Cape may make a voluntary donation of R20 to the association. Participants can register at the venue between 9am and 10am.
