Annual Rittelfees Festival in Vredendal returns

Head to Vredendal for this annual shindig that gathers eight Namaqualand towns together along with South African celebrities for an indulgence of music, arts and crafts.

It's not all just for arty types, there's a bit of glamour and action thrown in with a 'Miss Rittlefees' competition, marathon, sports-day, charity concert, exhibitions and food stalls.


The three day Rittelfees festival boasts seven stages and over one hundred great South African artists performing.

Rittelfees musicians include the likes of Kurt Darren, Snotkop, Nicholis Louw, Karen Ferreira, Izak Daniels, Blackie Swart, Anton Myburgh and many more.

No excuses for not attending the Rittelfees – why not hop in the party bus! It departs from Cape Town on the 29 October at 17:30 to Rittelfees and returns to Cape Town on the 1st November at 12:00.

Only pack your clothes, sleeping bag, pillow and one big pair of party shoes. Bus will park on the sports ground and after parties will be held as well.

Two camps will be set up with showers and toilets. Camp braai facilities will be available during the day and night. Full camp security will be supplied during the course of stay.

Bus tickets cost R1990 and include:

• Three day Rittelfees tickets with VIP pass
• Breakfast and coffee for three days
• Tent and mattress provided and tent erected ( 2 people per tent)
