RCS Youth Day Race In Gugulethu

Lace up and enter into this family-orientated, yet competitive competition!

Gugulethu Athletics Club is hosting the RCS Youth Day Run (formerly known as the Dave Spence Memorial Race) on Saturday, 16 June 2018, at the NY49 sports complex in Gugulethu – so lace up and get ready to run either the 10km or the 4.2km race.

The Gugulethu Athletics club has a history of producing top class athletes but still keeps itself open to those who just want to be fit. Fitness and competition is not always first priority, the club treats all members as family. This is shown through their honouring of former coach Dave Spence. 

The race starts at 7:30am near NY3 in Gugulethu with most of the route being fast and flat with the occasional uphill battle.

Tickets are available via Entrytime.com, priced between R30/p to R85/p. Runners over the age of 70 enter for free. Entries will be accepted on the day.
