7 Weekend Picks: Race Ducks Down a River and Dance in the Third Dimension

Plus leave the ordinary world behind at this burlesque show

This week is all about fun, creativity, imagination and out-of-this-world experiences. There’s a trance party with lazers, indoor pyro and 3D technology; a sexy circus mistress who’ll transport you into a world of wild imagination; and a punk-style singer-turned-author is in town to introduce his children’s books to us.

In the countryside, there are rubber ducks to race down a river (it’s all for a good cause), plus we have a taster for next week’s seven picks with giant bugs, PSL soccer and celebration of African culture.
