On 1 October 2018, the latest AfriCamps location launches. Bookings are now open for Africamps at Oakhurst in Wilderness, featuring eight tents on one of the last working Garden Route farms in the Outeniqua Mountains. Expect fishing, hiking, biking, a working dairy farm on the property to visit with the kids and the Garden Route’s famous unspoilt beaches, lagoons and viewpoints as well as hang-gliding and paragliding for the adventurous.
What’s more, the launch of Africamps at Oakhurst means that you can now explore the Garden Route, staying exclusively at AfriCamps as you travel from Swellendam to Oudtshoorn to Wilderness and then Plettenberg Bay.

AFRICAMPS BOUTIQUE CAMPS
Each campsite features a handful of custom-made 55sqm AfriCamps five-man tents with a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, spacious living area, fireplace, two comfortable private bedrooms furnished with queen-sized beds and one with an extra bunk bed (all beds are XL 2m length) and an outdoor deck and braai. Unique features like WiFi, hot tubs and swimming pools vary at each site.
The Bill: Starting from R545pp (low season) to R1045pp (peak season) shared. Sleeps up to 5 people (R200 per additional adult). Children under 2 stay free, while those 3–16 yrs are R100 each. Food and beverages, activities and tours are not included in the price, but breakfast and braai packs can be arranged (at an additional cost).
