The Three Peaks Challenge commemorates Carl Wilhelm Schneeberger’s 1897 feat, when he successfully ascended Devil’s Peak, Table Mountain and Lion’s Head, starting from and returning each time to the old Johannesburg Hotel in Long Street.
Conquering all of Cape Town’s three peaks in one day is an incredibly demanding but satisfying challenge – physically, mentally and emotionally.
