The famous Tiger's Tavern is probably one of the best places for a drink and a bit of dancing in the township of Langa.
In the Tiger's Tavern or Tiger's Place in Langa, ±20 km from Cape Town,
the beer is always cold and the atmosphere always warm and vibrant. It
is the best place to experience how people in Langa party and socialize
with their friends.
The fact that they have live music on a regular basis is another reason for you to pop in when you are in the area.
Last but not least: Tiger's Place in Langa is the place to be for a
âlekker' braai (or barbecue). The owner of the shebeen (township
tavern) also owns the butchery next door, where you can purchase your
own meat to braai it on a massive open fireplace which burning all the time.
Where?
Tiger's Place,
Washington Street ( opposite of Eziko restaurant)
Langa, South Africa

Only a scenic two hour drive from Cape Town, over impressive Du Toits Kloof Pass, past Worchester and through the picturesque Hex River Valley, life might seem as it was hundreds of years ago here in the Cape.
Aquila Private Game Reserve is situated along the Karoo Mountains in a unique Renosterveld and Mountain Fynbos landscape with the countryside a kaleidoscope of breathtaking colours in different ranges of orange, green, brown and gold.
This malaria free four star private game lodge is the only authentic Big 5 game reserve in the Cape. Chances are good that you will see many of the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino.
Aquila is approximately 4500 ha in size and rich in Boer war and Khoi San history – you will see old artifacts in the library that...
