Coffee, antiques, lunch and Molo canvasses on Church Street
On Church Street in Cape Town, one of the most picturesque streets, you find everything from lunch & coffee to antiques and ... Molo canvasses in ART1 Gallery!
Molo CapeTownMagazine.com icons are now for sale at ART1 Art Gallery on Church Street in Cape Town, one of the most picturesque streets in the City Bowl that connects Long Street and Burg Street.

In the midst of open-air antique stands,
quirky design shops, and coffee hideaways you will find a couple of art galleries as for instance ART1. This small gallery is run by Mariette van den Heever, an established Afrikaans artist, and displays contemporary African art of emerging South African artists from all backgrounds.

When ART1 gallery in Cape Town contacted us,
the choice was easily made. With the result a series of nine Molo canvasses (30cm x 30cm), one for each South African province, hanging on the wall of ART1 Gallery. For instance, on the Northern Province canvas Molo has bushman character traits. The Mpumalanga Molo wears traditional Ndebele Rings around his neck.

Each Molo canvas is mounted on a wooden frame and is sold for R620 each.
