Muizenberg: Take Boyes Drive for a view from above over False Bay and Muizenberg.
Spot surfers trying to control the waves, and absorb all of the
surrounding beauty. In the surrounding hills you find deep caverns and
caves with a labyrinth of passages and chambers that will bedazzle you.
Kalk Bay: Close to Muizenberg you find Kalk Bay, a delightful fishing
village. At 13:00 hr, watch the fishermen offload their bright
painted boats. If you want, you can buy your supper here. Trust us:
Fish can't be fresher than this!
Boulders Beach: This park in Simon's Town is part of the Cape Peninsula National
Park, and is home to more than 3000 African penguins. Apart from
spotting these flightless birds from a boardwalk, you have the
opportunity to swim where they swim. A unique experience!
Cape Point & Cape of Good Hope: From Boulders Beach you head off for Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope and
the surrounding nature reserve. Apart from the two highlights, Cape
Point and Cape of Good Hope, one should really take the time to explore
the Nature Reserve. Here one can walk for miles and miles, have a dip
in the ocean, walk along the pristine beaches and even spot local
wildlife. Baboons for instance, hyraxes or dassies and several buck
species.
Scarborough: This is a quaint seaside village, where peace and tranquility
over rule everything. Apart from the beauty of the surroundings, there
is more to do. Sandboarding for instance, one of the great activities
which you can do for free with The Cape Town Pass.
Noordhoek's never ending beach: Drive to Noordhoek, which is famous for its neverending beaches. Have a
walk on the beach or even better, go for a horseback ride! Like
sanboarding in Scarborough, horseback riding on Noordhoek's beach
is free as well with The Cape Town Pass.
Chapman's Peak Drive: One thing you should not forget while exploring the Peninsula is Chapman's Peak Drive. This 9 km drive between
Noordhoek and Hout Bay offers you some of the most spectacular views
over the Atlantic Ocean and the rugged coastline.
So get into your car and cruise along
Chapman's Peak Drive! Treat yourself with breathtaking views over the
Ocean and Mount Sentinel. And whatever you do: Do not forget your
camera!
Hout Bay: Experience a wonderful scenic with Drumbeat Charters cruise from Hout Bay harbour to Seal Island, and view
thousands of Cape Fur seals from up-close in their natural habitat. The cruise, free with The Cape Town Pass, takes you to shipwrecks and along the Atlantic coast around
the Sentinel Mountain near Hout Bay.
A glass of wine on Llandudno Beach: End the day on ther Peninsula with a glass of wine on the beach of Llandudno, one of the
poshest beaches of Cape Town. Watch the sun slip into the Altantic and
think back of everything you have seen and done.
