GET THE REAL-DEAL CAPE TOWN SUMMER EXPERIENCE: Shane Abrahams from Big Dreamer Productions says that this outdoor fiesta is all about the experience, and ticket-holders will not be disappointed by what’s on offer on the day. Like the boy in the old Standard Bank ad says, “Aw, Mom. It’s a day-night game!” This 11-hour hoedown kicks off with some laidback chill time in the afternoon, and takes party-goers into the wee hours of the morning with toe-tapping tunes. Set on the lush lawns of The River Club’s sprawling greens, the venue will have plenty of shade and comfortable seating.

A KILLER LOCAL LINE-UP: This year, festival-goers can look forward to a heady mix of local talent on stage. Cape Town’s darling crooner Jimmy Nevis, Mzansi pop queen Toya Delazy, pop-soul band Beatenberg and brand new electronic music duo Surge & Sarah are set to perform live on the day and are sure to get those feet moving and booties shaking. What’s more, top-notch Mother City beatmakers, such as DJ Milkshake, Ryan Dent, Craig De Sousa, DJ Lyle and NV Funk, are poised to drop dope basslines into the night. Not to mention, the Mother City’s favourite Mohawk boytjie, radio presenter and stand-up comedian Carl Wastie, will not only emcee on the day but will also interact and entertain the crowd like only he can.

HIGH-QUALITY PRODUCTION: Known for putting forth excellent experiences, Big Dreamer Productions has spared no expense in making sure that this year’s event will blow your mind! With mind-bending lighting and visuals as well as large LED screens, it won’t matter how near or far you are from the stage - you will still have a prime view of what is going down (especially if you are in the VIP section).

GREAT GRUB AND ICE-COLD DRINKS: Naturally, the event will host a curated selection of food trucks and vendors (personally and painstakingly sourced by the organisers). Attendees can expect a mix of American diner-style grub, spicy Durban curries and bunny chows, traditional Mzansi favourites and, of course, pizza and much more. Aside from the mouth-watering line-up of nosh on offer, there will also be two bars on site ready to quench any thirst. EXCLUSIVE VIP TREATMENT: Of course, no Cape Town event is complete without a VIP experience, and this summer-themed do is pulling out all the stops and corks.
