Offering participants an hour-long high-intensity cardio workout featuring various training exercises and techniques such as squats, lunges and burpees while using a variety of equipment including weighted bags, dumbbells and ropes – think boot camp on trampolines – Rush’s X FIT classes strive to make working out bounds of fun with the added bonus of getting your body, mind and soul in better shape. Run by Rush’s talented team of fitness instructors, Rush X FIT members can expect nothing less than a full hour of exhilarating and extreme wall-to-wall calorie-burning trampoline exercise focusing on strengthening and toning the human body in all areas. So, be prepared for a sweaty body sculpting, core condition, weight loss trampolining-experience.

What’s more, paying Rush X FIT first-timers are welcome to bring a friend along to the first session for FREE.

Originating in the USA, Rush South Africa – a first of its kind in Africa – launched in Cape Town in 2015. Locally owned and operated, dedicated to the community and its guests, the Claremont park features 1 700 square metres of wall-to-wall interconnected trampolines, including two extreme dodgeball courts, an enormous cube foam pit complete with a diving board, three basketball slam dunk lanes (one being hydraulic catering for the younger jumper), a battle beam as well as a four metre high performance wall – offering a total of 2 500 square metres of trampoline-powered fun just waiting for you to experience the RUSH.

FOUR REASONS TO JOIN RUSH X FIT CLASSES

TONES YOURS BODY: Jumping on a trampoline uses almost every muscle in your body. Regular trampoline activity helps to tone muscles (especially the stomach, back, arms and legs), burn calories – up to 1 000 calories an hour – as well as increase metabolisms; all this while having fun.

MUSCLE STRENGTHENING: Jumpers are forced to become more aware of their centre of gravity. The constant strengthening of balance developed through jumping is perfect for cross-training athletes, fitness-freaks, those looking for a solid workout and everyone else in between, as trampoline exercise can help increase hand-eye coordination as well as develop (or maintain) physical skills requiring simultaneous concentration. This is proven to have a positive impact on bilateral motor skills and the control of different muscles at once.

’HAPPY’ ENDORPHINS: Jumping on a trampoline not only helps to strengthen the body but also refreshes the mind and soul by stimulating your “happy” endorphins. When you exercise – jumping on a trampoline included – your body releases chemicals called endorphins. Amongst other things, these endorphins trigger a positive feeling in your body helping you to deal with negativity and stress more productively leading to a happier and more positive lifestyle. After all, it’s hard to feel stressed when you literally bouncing off the walls!

IT’S FITNESS AND FUN; IT’S ’FUN-NESS’: And lastly, jumping on a trampoline is FUN, especially if its 1 700 square metres of wall-to-wall interconnected trampolines. In fact, it’s so much fun that you probably won’t even realise that you’re exercising (for an entire hour!)

If the above isn’t enough reason to join RUSH X FIT classes, then we don’t know what is. So, grab a friend and book your first RUSH X FIT class today. It’s bound to be leaps of fun!
