The song is sung by 'Juan Thyme' or Alex. No one knows his surname. 'Cape Town My Friend' is one of these tunes that will always make you think of and long for Cape Town, where ever you are. To our modest opinion, it should be recorded with Vusi Khumalo playing drums.
