Live Music Saturdays at Plant
Mix a little music with your healthy meal
Please note: Plant will be closed until further notice.
On the weekly, Plant on Buiten Street in Cape Town CBD will be hosting a music evening every Saturday to put a little boogie into your weekend. To go with their new and improved menu, Plant have got local jazz masters Online to play on a weekly basis!
These local lads have been lighting up stages across Cape Town for some time now, and they’re the perfect addition to a Saturday night at Plant. They specialize in jazz, African and Latin music meaning that they’ll bring a real funkiness to the evening, all the while you’re enjoying some deliciously healthy eats from the very talented chefs at Plant.
Plant started in 2014 as a little cafe in the Bo-Kaap serving delicious vegan food, and now they’ve grown into a full restaurant and they’ve just developed a new menu. They’ve got vegan alternatives to it all; burgers, nachos, quesadillas and lasagna (plus much more). If you’ve never tried vegan food, there is no better place to delve into the world of conscious eating than Plant. Their dessert menu is also amazing; it features raw delights a plenty and some vegan takes on classic dessert favourites. We love the Raw Tiramisu, and the Raw Truffles are to die for.
Vegan food does not mean doing without flavour; it simply means you’re adjusting yourself to a cruelty-free, totally animal product free way of eating. Plant packs loads of flavour into their food and aside from the sense of good you will feel, the food is also much better for you; no pesticides, no hidden chemicals and certainly no animal bi-products. Plant offers true transparency in their cooking, and we couldn’t be more excited for their live music Saturday nights.
