Women’s Day Divas Unite Concert

Celebrate exceptional South African women at this wonderful Women’s Day orchestral affair

The Divas Unite Concert, which takes place on Tuesday, 9 August 2016 at the GrandWest Grand Arena, is what Women’s Day should be all about: celebrating women.

Aside from the sublime soloists, a very special selection of women will play in an all-female version of the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, which will accompany some of South Africa’s foremost female artists.

This year’s line-up is set to blow audiences away with big names on the bill such as inspirational singer Rouchelle Liedemann, jazz singer Adelia Douw, singing trio Blackbyrd, soprano Lynelle Kenned, soprano Magdalene Minnaar, singer and theatre star Judy Page, and singer and talent scout Bev Scott-Brown.

Not only will this concert be the perfect opportunity to admire the talent of South Africa’s female stars but some of the proceeds from the night also go towards a relevant charity – it’s a night focused on women empowering other women after all!

Tickets for the night range from R180p/p to R220p/p and can be purchased from Computicket.com. Tickets for children aged between six and 12 years-old are R120p/p.
