Vrede and Lust Wine Estate offer free wine tasting at their Tasting room counter!

Visitors often ask them why they offer free wine tastings when most other wineries charge for tastings, they always try to explain that there is a difference between free tasting and free drinking.

They also explain that it does not make sense to spend a lot of money to attend a wine show somewhere and then charge those who take the time and make the effort to come and visit them!

If you make the investment in time to visit with Vrede and Lust, it is only natural for them to reward your investment.

Complete your vine and wine experience and relax in Vrede and Lust’s modern Cape-African winery complex where their tasting room is situated, overlooking seas of vines and onto the beautiful Groot Drakenstein Mountains.

Six wines will be offered at the free tasting:

Jess Dry Rose
Sarah Chardonnay
Sauvignon Blanc
Viognier
Mochocolate
Boet Erasmus

All tastings are free to the public but should you request further tasting it will be at a cost of R25p/p.

Please note that should you visit Vrede and Lust with a tour operator that the wine tasting will be at a cost of R20p/p

The tasting room is open Monday to Sunday
Times:  10:00 – 17:00
