The Wedding Expo

If you’re getting married in the morning and the bells are going to chime, make sure you get to this showcase to make it to the church on time

Following on from a successful Johannesburg event, the Wedding Expo is coming to the Cape Town International Convention Centre from Saturday, 10 to Sunday, 11 June 2017. Known as the most comprehensive biannual bridal show in Africa, this elegant affair is all about showcasing the best people in the bridal biz under the same roof. This means that brides and grooms will have easy access to the experts and all the top tips and on-site goods needed to make their big day a dream to plan.

Founded in 2002, the expo has seen 28 successful shows since its inception, and now boasts over 300 world-class vendors per event. In 2015, the wedding wonder was extended to Durban and our own pretty city, bringing visions of Pinterest-perfect wedded bliss to stressed couples petrified by the planning process.

Whether you’re after a wedding planner, venue, dress, cake, stationery, flowers, photographer or something special, this expo is a guaranteed good spot to start seeking the people you need to bring your dream to life. Make sure you arrive with plenty of questions as you’re sure to find the experts you need to answer them. Expect beautiful things, friendly advice, tasty treats and bridal things galore – there’s definitely going to be fun and romance in store.
