Fans of the blues, listen up! Get ready for knee-slapping, toe-tapping live performances as some of South Africa’s top blues musicians descend on Cape Town for a blues affairThis shakin’ shindig, sounds off at the Hillcrest Quarry in Durbanville on Saturday, 5 December 2015.

Founded in 2006 as a way to recognise the blues as a genre of music, the Table Mountain Blues Summit has been celebrating the blues for nearly a decade. This year the music festival touches down at a new, bigger location and will feature12 top South African blues acts in one day.

Fans can look forward to the likes of Albert Frost and his trio, jam to the tunes of the young Jonathan Peyper or sing along to one of the city’s blues favourites, Black Cat Bones.

Whether you’re a seasoned blues fan or just discovering the blues for the very first time you’re guaranteed a great time.
