The OneSight Acoustics Finale

The crowd cheers and the energy is electric as you watch the GoodLuck trio swing around the stage. Juliet tosses her hair and smiles as she sashays from side to side singing the songs we all know and love, while Matthew’s fingers fly across the keys and Ben keeps the beat with strong hands rhythmically pounding the percussion. You can see the concentration and delight in their eyes, the sweat on their brows and the mellifluous flow of music moving their souls – or maybe you can’t. Maybe you’re one in every seven individuals globally who can’t get an eye exam and a pair of glasses due to a lack of accessibility and funds.

And that’s exactly why the OneSight Acoustics concert finale is not only set to be an epic jol, but it’s important as well. On Saturday, 30 April, the last concert will happen at the V&A Waterfront Croquet Lawn from 1pm onwards, and all the proceeds go to OneSight global non-profit, which brings vital vision care to people across the country by mobilising eye care professionals, experts and partners to make optometry accessible to everyone. The last in a series of four concerts, this show promises to be less acoustic but just as amazing, with a magical line-up set to keep audiences spellbound. Listen to the lyrical styling of GoodLuck, the ghetto tech tunes of Crazy White Boy, the ‘kiff’ live electro beats of The Kiffness, the other-world orchestrations of DJ Invizable and the rocking refrains of Roxy.

The music starts at 2:30pm, but come early to tuck into scrumptious treats from the smorgasbord of food options available, accompanied by drinks from The Spring Brewing Company and Spier Wine Farm.
