The Michaelis School of Fine Art Graduate Exhibition

Experience the multimedia artworks of the talented young people set to shape South Africa’s contemporary art scene

A highly anticipated affair on the annual Cape Town arts calendar, the Michaelis Graduate Exhibition is set to once again wow the public on Friday, 11 December 2015. The exhibition will run until Saturday, 19 December 2015. Those wanting to witness the incredible works of some of the city’s foremost emerging creatives can head to UCT’s Hiddingh Campus on Orange Street to view the multimedia artistry of the class of 2015.

The exhibition is significant as it provides closure on the students’ undergraduate journeys whilst also marking the beginning of their artistic careers. Talent scouts and collectors take note: this is where you’re likely to find the Irma Sterns, Gerard Sekotos, Willie Besters and Brett Murrays of tomorrow. The art spans multiple disciplines including painting, new media, print media, sculpture and photography, and the historical setting of Hiddingh provides a perfect backdrop for the exhibit.

Come and view the art of the talented young people set to shape our contemporary art scene, whilst also enjoying mingling with the city’s creatives and art lovers.  

TICKETS FOR THE 2015 MICHAELIS SCHOOL OF FINE ART GRADUATE EXHIBITION IN CAPE TOWN

Entry to the exhibition is free and it opens at 5pm on Friday, 11 December 2015. From Monday to Saturday, it's open from 10am - 4pm.
