The Global Bubble Parade in Green Point

You’ve simply never been to a parade like this one; a bubble wonderland!

Everyone loves bubbles; kiddies, dogs, cats (maybe, who can ever tell really?) adults and probably aliens too, although I admit I’ve never asked one. On Sunday, 28 May 2017, Green Point will be overtaken and filled to the brim with bubbles; yes, bubbles. The 100happydays Foundation is organising The Global Bubble Parade event, and we cannot wait to see what happens when people come together for this fun-filled bubbletastic parade.

The Global Bubble Parade will bring together a selection of bubble loving people, all keen to celebrate life and happiness. The organisers of this international event believe that happiness is a journey and they want to promote interaction, resiliency and diversity within communities all over the world. The Global Bubble Parade will take place on the same day across the globe, so have some laughs with friends while being part of this international happiness movement!

The 100happydays Foundation has one simple objective; to make the world a happier place. This non-profit organisation has impacted the lives of over eight million people across 180 countries. Their latest endeavour, the Global Bubble Parade, now takes place in 80 different countries and has hosted over 900,000 people in total. Have a look at what happened when the Global Bubble Parade hit Bucharest in 2015:

The parade offers families an exciting, kiddie friendly day out. For those without children, it’s an opportunity to have some fun with friends at the very first Global Bubble Parade in Cape Town.

Here is how it works; there are no tickets or admission fees. Simply arrive at the meeting point in Green Point (shown below on the map), wear whatever you feel comfy in, bring with you enough soapy water to create a bubble cluster and prepare to meet with other happy people.

Here is the promo video for the 2017 edition, so have a look and get excited for the very first Global Bubble Parade to hit the Mother City:

TICKETS FOR THE 2017 GLOBAL BUBBLE PARADE IN GREEN POINT
