If you fancy donning some headphones and dancing through the Company’s Garden with a spring in your step and happiness in your heart then this Studio 7 Silent Session is exactly what you’re after. Paying tribute to the enigmatic 27 Club, the Best of the Buskers edition will feature Majozi, Farryl Purkiss, Francesca Biancoli, ShenFM and others, all in the spectacular setting of the famed Company's Garden. Taking place on Tuesday, 5 April, the next Silent Session will involve participants using state-of-the-art wireless headphones to hop around the gardens, rotating between artists every 20 minutes to enjoy different performances from each inspiring act. With the theme in mind, the performers will play not only their own tracks, but also tunes from Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Robert Johnson and other famous musicians who had their lives cut short at the tender age of 27 (hence the 27 Club).
After experiencing the sounds of each of the artists, guests are invited to head to the paddocks to delight in the launch of a funky new gin from the UK, as well as a night market hosted by the Good Company Farmers Market. Live music will be provided by Shen Winberg, Adam Coolseth and Maurice Paliaga, and headphone-free revellers can enjoy top tunes as they tuck into the fantastic gin and wines, and all manner of treats courtesy of some fabulous food trucks.
