Stelth Ulvang at cafe Roux

He is here ahead of The Lumineers tour to do some intimate gigs in the Mother City

Stelth Ulvang is coming back to SA once again, and we cannot wait to hear what he has in store for the two intimate shows he has scheduled in Cape Town. The Lumineers, of which he is one, are back in Cape Town on Wednesday, 26 April 2016 but Stelth is coming to the Mother City on a solo tour which will see him perform at both cafe Roux’s: the Cape Town CBD branch on Friday, 6 and at the Noordhoek branch on Saturday, 7 January 2017.

This self taught folk master is the epitome of an authentic musician; self taught and dedicated to creating a unique and individual sound, with meaningful lyrics that people can relate to. Do not miss this very limited opportunity to see a member of your favourite band in one of the most intimate music venues in Cape Town.

The newly opened cafe Roux on Longmarket Street is the sister branch of the hugely successful Noordhoek venue of the same name is the ideal place for a gig like this. Cafe Roux, with its 100 seater capacity, offers audiences an opportunity to get up close with their favourite musicians, and allows the talent on show to create a more personalised experience.

Stelth, in a recent interview with News24, declared that he loves South Africa and keeps coming back for the “the musicians … but the landscape and beauty of the entire country is certainly a plus”. He also hinted that during his upcoming shows that he will be collaborating with some local musicians that he has met and been impressed by. We do know for sure, however, that his opening act at both shows is the Stone Jets.
