Spring Fest at Wild Clover Breweries

The best brews are enjoyed with your best bruhs

The hoppiest memories of summer are almost always found in sunny places with friends and loved ones. Take those memories to the next level, with Spring Fest at Wild Clover Breweries in Stellenbosch. In celebration of all things beer, the SouthYeasters Homebrewers Club is hosting a fusion between a beer festival and a beer competition, on Saturday, 24 September 2016. If you want to experience beer in a more wholesome way, then this event is totally for you!

Wild Clover Breweries is located north of Stellenbosch along the R304. It is a beautiful part of the Western Cape and well worth a trip, especially to attend this exceptionally exciting beer fest. Spring Fest will not only hero the beer and their creators, but will also feature food from fabulously yummy local food trucks.

There will also be a beer brewing competition judged by a panel of judges who have been through the rigorous BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Programme). Both the SouthYeasters Homebrewers Club and Helderberg Brewers will present their beers and you, as the guest, will blind taste them and vote for your preference. The beer with the most votes wins the title!

The general public can also bring homebrews along to enter into a tasting. To enter you should submit a vit beer, a weiss beer or a saison. The beer must adhere to the brewing process of whichever beer of the three you choose, but it must have a ‘South African twist’.
