Give a child a new reason to smile by helping Operation Smile South Africa in raising funds to provide surgery for children who were born with a cleft lip or palate. Be part of Smile Day on Saturday, 8 October 2016 and visit Ratanga Junction to help little ones in need while enjoying the thrilling rides at the “wildest place in Africa”. Tickets are available at Webtickets.co.za now!
Operation Smile is an international organisation that performs cleft lip and cleft palate surgery on children. A cleft lip or cleft palate is a physical split in the upper lip or roof of the mouth, which can cause eating problems, ear infections, speech difficulties and dental problems. The charity aims to provide safe and effective surgery to children in disadvantaged areas who are battling this condition. A procedure of this nature costs approximately R5500 and Operation Smile South Africa is on a mission to raise enough funds to provide surgery to every child in Southern Africa who needs it. The operation only takes 45 minutes to complete, so you have the opportunity to improve a child’s life in less than an hour just by making a donation.
Join these smiling superheroes at Ratanga Junction on Saturday, 8 October 2016 and spend the day visiting the exciting attractions in the ‘Wildest Place in Africa’. Get splashed in a log on the Monkey Falls, fly above the canal on the stomach-churning Congo Queen and twist and turn through the sky on The Cobra – the fastest and craziest ride in the theme park. Ticket holders will be given a chance to take part in a lucky draw and win some cool prizes too!
TICKETS TO THE 2016 SMILE DAY AT RATANGA JUNCTION
Tickets can be purchased from Webtickets.co.za for R150p/p. For more information, send an email to adva.brivik-prins@operationsmile.co.za.
