“Why hurry over beautiful things? Why not linger and enjoy them?” Clara Schumann
Celebrate winter fashion with Jackie Burger and other professionals who know it best. On Saturday, 16 April 2016, the lovelies over at Salon 58 will be hosting their Soiree No.6: Awaken Winter at JP Olivier Art Centre in Stellenbosch. This workshop/market is an opportunity to learn and discuss trends already seen, and trends our experts can see hovering over the horizon. Be one step ahead this month with Salon 58.
This event boasts big names like Laureen Rossouw (former editor of ELLE Decoration SA) who will be on hand to discuss design inspirations on trends in the 20th century. Trend forecaster Abigail Rands will also be in attendance and, along with Alayne Reesberg (former CEO of Cape Town Design) will be talking about all things trendy.
The Food Editor of Woolworth’s Taste Magazine, Abigail Donnelly, will be cooking up a storm to feed the masses with delights that only the professionals can handle. Enjoy her fresh seasonal menu while Jackie takes you through the must-haves for winter 2016, and how to wear them in your own individual way!
That’s not all ladies, as MAC Cosmetics are joining the party, and they’re bringing their best products and their most talented staff for a beauty edit just for you!
As always, guests have the amazing opportunity to browse, try and buy all of the products and clothes they see. So pack your purses ladies, because you definitely don’t want to be left out of the loop this season.
