Rust en Vrede has graced the winelands of Stellenbosch since 1694, and is renowned for sensational wine and stunning scenery. On Tuesday, 7 February 2017, the talented chefs at Arugula Bistro are celebrating the delicious yield from Rust en Vrede.
The chefs at Arugula Bistro specialise in good food served simply. Both Neil Swart and Anouchka Horn use only the best produce available locally, and they do as little to it as possible to let the true natural flavours shine through. A good meal needs good ingredients, or so my mum says.
The event on Tuesday, 7 February 2017 will feature a five-course menu designed to show off the best produce from the Rust en Vrede Estate in Stellenbosch. There is no word yet on what will be served specifically, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the food will be outstandingly delicious and filled with local flare. Plus there will be plenty of wine.
The added benefit of the dinner has to stand with the fact that Rust en Vrede’s delicious wine will be available for purchase at cellar prices on the night of the dinner. Take home a piece of the magic lovingly bottled within a Rust en Vrede tipple.
