Jah man! Feel the rhythm at not one, but two reggae gigs taking place at the end of October. Rob Prophet and The Prophets Band will perform live at the Lingelethu Site C Stadium in Khayelitsha on Saturday, 29 October 2016, and again at Roggeland Farm in Paarl on Sunday, 30 October 2016.
This South African-based international group of musicians and artists will spread peace and love through their music alongside a range of other local DJs and fellow Rastas. This mega-reggae weekend will be a feel-good, no-worries affair where you can come and dance to calypso, dancehall, and other Afro-Caribbean styles of music.
If you work up an appetite from all the dancing and merry-making, there will be a variety of food stalls on site to satisfy the strongest hunger. Beverages will also be sold at the concerts so bring some extra cash.
