Psytrance record label, Nano, is Ten Years Young, and what better way to celebrate than by dancing the night away with Labyrinth at Trinity on Saturday, 30 June 2012.
With close to 60 releases to its name, Nano has been bringing you the best artists in psytrance for 10 years, and they show no sign of stopping soon. Born on Cape Town’s sunny dance floors in 2002, the record label was created when DJs Regan, Ans and Chesh decided to combine forces and bring the SA psytrance vibe to the rest of the world. With bases in South Africa and the UK, Nano’s anglo-african trance domination took a giant leap in the right direction.
Ten years later and Nano is a highly-respected global psytrance label that features artists from around the world. What’s more the label has a reputation for being ahead of the pack, claiming new quality sounds from artists who are constantly shifting paradigms.
Two dance floors, some of the best local and international psytrance DJs and multiple bars will keep you on your toes and boogying away, and as always, the hi-tech Funktion 1 sound system will be ready to blow your hair back. Luminos features brain-bending decorations and décor, and trance-inducing lighting is brought to you by Contraband.
