New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance at Richard’s Supper Stage

Say hello to 2017 with a truly Capetonian celebration at this Sea Point musical revue restaurant

Since you’re in Cape Town for New Year’s Eve, you should definitely have a quintessential local experience, which is exactly what you’ll get at Richard’s Supper Stage & Bistro’s splendid send-off for 2016.

The Sea Point-based musical revue and restaurant is serving up an excellent meal alongside a special edition of the ‘Kaapse Stories from the Mother City’ show, making sure that guests greet the new year with content bellies and super jovial spirits. To start with, revellers are welcomed with bubbly and oysters, before tucking into the buffet dinner. Guests can expect to dine on yummy crayfish, beef fillet, chicken and prawn curry as well as a number of scrumptious culinary surprises.

There’s no need to worry about all the extra calories though, because the entertainment lined up for New Year’s Eve at Richard’s Supper Stage is sure to have diners working off that excess energy. Minds will be blown by an astonishing magical performance, and afterwards, Richard’s resident jazz band will provide the soundtrack for great grooving. At the stroke of midnight, there will be a Kaapse Klopse (Cape Minstrels) procession to usher in 2017 in true local style, after which guests can dance the night away until the wee hours of the morning.

The cost includes a welcome drink and canapés, a four-course meal and all the entertainment for the evening.
