Mama Magic Baby Expo
Mamas, papas and babas! Get ready for the largest parenting and baby exhibition this side of the equator
They say it takes a village to raise a child, and at the annual Mama Magic Baby Expo from Friday, 1 to Sunday, 3 November 2013 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) an entire community of exhibitors and experts will be on hand to help new and expecting parents find everything they need to keep their little ones healthy and happy.
Billed as the undisputed leader in baby, toddler and parenting exhibitions, the extravaganza offers more than 2000 brands of goods and services, the latest most innovative products and access to professionals with tips and information on a variety of topics. Not to mention, moms and pops can rest easy knowing that it will be a hassle free outing, with breastfeeding and bottle warming stations, nappy changing areas (with FREE nappies and wipes from Pampers!) and even a Baby City Pram Park available on site.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Mama Magic expo without the appearance of the popular purple dinosaur Barney, and, as usual, everyone’s favourite imaginary T-rex will be singing and dancing his way through valuable lessons for the tiny tots; show times are at 10:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm daily, and parents should book in advance as the performances fill up quickly. Plus, with a dedicated play area and a variety of food stalls available, there won’t be any cranky kiddies to contend with.
Competitions at the 2013 Mama Magic Baby Expo
Parents-to-be must make sure they visit the Preggy Zone and pick up an entry form for the Preggy bingo competition, which gives expecting dads and mums an opportunity to win a pregnancy starter pack valued at R140 000. And for those who already have their little bundles of joy, there is the Pic & Win competition, which gives folks the chance to instantly pick up one of the amazing prizes on offer.
