EARTHBOX is a first-of-its-kind ...
Experience an immersive sensory journey into the depths of the earth
Cape Town’s longest running trance party is back! Labyrinth (or LAB as it’s affectionately known) is set to celebrate its ninth birthday on Saturday, 9 August 2014 with an unmissable throwdown at the Old Land Bank (QV54) in Queen Victoria Street. This historic venue takes over the hosting role from old Green Point club Trinity, and will no doubt provide an equally ideal backdrop to the high-quality sound and visual production that’s in store for stompers.
But that’s not all. In addition to the main stage and its killer line-up, Labyrinth 2014 promises a second VIP Techno Floor hosted by Techtris and featuring some of the top names in the underground scene. Now that’s what we call a party!
The legendary event previously took the form of a weekly throwdown that wreaked havoc in some of the Mother City’s hottest clubs (in most recent years Fiction and Rhino Room) but has since transformed into a larger-than-life once-off annual event.
The party is most famous for bringing some of the hottest names (local and international) to Cape Town and for cultivating a local indoor psytrance scene long after the wintery weather sends most into hibernation.
The unbeatable jol makes full use of the amazing Funktion 1 sound set-up and always features mind-blowing decor and lighting.
So forgot the Saturday night series marathon you had planned, this party is one for the books!
