The Two Oceans Aquarium and its denizens of the deep are opening their mystical night-time world to youngsters for a movie screening in the AfriSam Children’s Play Centre on Friday, 20 March 2015. The pop-up cinema evening invites kiddies and parents alike to not only enjoy two marine-inspired films, but also to experience the otherworldly atmosphere of the aquarium in the evening.
Upon arrival, there will be a welcoming drink waiting for parents and popcorn and juice for the children. Animal tanks will be active during this nocturnal adventure for youngsters to appreciate, and adults can either wander around the displays, stick around for the films or head down to the Shoreline Café for tapas or drinks from the cash bar.
The screenings will begin with Dolphin Tail 2, an animation that carries a PG age restriction and that’s suitable for most little ones. Afterwards there will be a 20-minute break, during which kids can stock up on their favourite snack from a tuckshop before diving into the next movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is suitable for children 7 years old and upwards.
