Experience charming acoustic melodies by a local musician who believes in giving his audience a natural, unfiltered sound. Visit Seeplaas on Thursday, 15 December and Friday, 16 December 2016 and see Joshua na die Reën live!
Most of the music we hear on the radio these days has been altered by producers to make the singer sound perfect – unrealistically perfect. Joshua na die Reën, however, doesn’t believe in disguising his sound and prefers to give his listeners a natural sound. The Pretoria native is known for recording a song in one take while sitting at his piano and playing from his heart. His introspective music ranges from upbeat melodies to thoughtful ballads about love, relationships and hope.
Hear some of Joshua na die Reën’s lovely compositions such as Lig op die Horison, Alles gee and Voshaarnooi (Ballade vir ‘n Enkeling) at his Seeplaas performance while taking in the stunning view of the surrounding sea. Seeplaas has got plenty of attractions to catch your interest before Joshua na die Reën’s performance. Patrons are welcome to visit the Ken Maloney Art Gallery and the Seeplaas Market before the show. Pop in at the Le Mont Aime Coffee Shop and try out their gourmet boeries, delicious locally-made coffee and other yummy treats as well. The concert is open to everyone so feel free to bring your family along.
TICKETS TO THE 2016 JOSHUA NA DIE REËN SHOW AT SEEPLAAS
Tickets are priced at R150p/p and can be purchased from Jndr.co.za or by emailing liane@heycreations.co.za. Doors open at 5:30pm and the show starts at 7pm.
