Hurry to see one of the world’s most famous theatre productions at Theatre on the Bay in Camps Bay. Look forward to an all-South Africa cast performing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s masterpiece Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, from Friday 12 August, to Saturday 5 November 2016.
Marvel at the story of the biblical Joseph and his brothers in a tale that is as funny as it is cheeky, and as exuberant as it is heartfelt. With Bianca Le Grange in the role of the narrator, the audience is transported through the turbulent world of Joseph and the history of an entire people. Featuring award-winning musical pieces like ‘Any Dream Will Do’ and ‘Close Every Door’, this performance has delighted audiences worldwide since the 1970s and will no doubt woo the Cape Town crowd too.
In a setting as theatrical as Camps Bay’s Theatre on the Bay, few theatre lovers would want to miss this. This star-studded cast also includes Earl Gregory as Joseph and musical theatre heavyweight Jonathan Roxmouth as Pharaoh.
