While people are reminiscing about all the happenings of 2016, we look forward to what 2017 has in store. How does Culture Shock sound on the first Thursday of the New Year?
2017 is here and ‘It Came From The Jungle’ kicks off the new year with a bang, hosting Culture Shock at Fiction on Thursday, 5 January 2017. Ram Records legend and Drum and Bass star, Culture Shock, has just released massive hits like Low frequency and Have it all. He is recognised by BBC Radio 1, tastemaker Annie Mac as “one of the most innovative Drum and Bass producers out there, delivering quality, time and time again”. Still not sure what you may expect from Culture Shock? Well, here is a little taste:
Fiction is one of the many clubs on Long Street in the heart of Cape Town, serving up a fun set of alternative electronic and dubstep beats. The best DJ’s are constantly in action and the small sized venue ensures that it is always packed! They also have a lineup of great events with the cool kids heading to Fiction these days, which begs the question – “why aren’t you?”.
