Are you inspired by illusion and fascinated by sleight of hand? Then get ready to see international magicians Max Maven, Paul Wilson and Rob Zabrecky bring their A-game to the Cape of Storms this spring. Hosted by the College of Magic, the International Stars of Magic Show is on at the Roxy Revue Bar at GrandWest Casino from Friday, 9 to Sunday, 11 October 2015.
America’s Max Maven will lead attendees through his mind blowing mentalist routine, where the real and not-so-real become confused. Maven’s mind-reading abilities are renowned; the New Yorker has travelled around the globe showcasing his innovative techniques and has been hailed by the New York Times as a performer to watch.
He is joined by ‘Deceptionist’, British magician and star of the Real Hustle, Paul Wilson who is considered one of the foremost experts on scams (which is why he works for a TV show about them!). The last of the truly talented trio is two time Stage Magician of the Year winner and fellow American Rob Zabrecky. The illustrious magician (who started out as a musician) is known for his quirky sense of humour and weird and wonderful acts.
All in all, this is a must see for eager magic fans. If you can’t make this event then check out the upcoming Children’s Magic Spectacular this spring.
