The Village Idiot meets Sxollie Cider

In the latest installment of the Perfect Pairing series, The Village Idiot meets Sxollie Cider for one night of harmonious enjoyment. On Saturday, 24 June 2017 The Village Idiot is playing host to Sxollie Cider for a pairing experience that you’ll never forget. The event starts at 4:30pm and comes to an official end at  7:30pm but The Village Idiot will stay open for patrons wanting to party afterwards.

The culinary scene in Cape Town is one of the best in the world (in our opinion) and these InstaEats events are coveted by foodie’s as they only cater for 100 bellies and this pairing might not come around again. The series sees local Cape Town alcohol brands paired with local restaurants to create a pairing experience like no other. The chefs at each venue work closely with the chosen tipple brand to create a menu that works better than wine works with cheese (or chocolate, or charcuterie; wine pretty much works with everything). Your tastebuds will be delighted by a three-course menu that you won’t be able to sample again!

Each course will be served with a drink, and the whole thing will be explained; like a guided tasting! Representatives from both participating businesses will be there to explain their products and how they interact with their partner’s. The event promises to be both enjoyable and informative. We are calling all cider lovers; this is your chance to sample some of the best and enjoy it while an expert pairs it with some mouthwatering dishes.

The cost of this experience is R150p/p, inclusive of the meals and the drinks paired with it.
