Diversity, history and multiculturalism are what makes our beautiful country unique, and this Heritage Day, Shimmy Beach Club will be hosting a plethora of stalls and suppliers which will showcase distinctive South African wares and treats. The Heritage beach Market will get underway at this iconic Mother City venue on Thursday, 24 September 2015, starting from 11am.
Perfect for the whole family, entry is free and will feature a variety of stalls geared towards proudly local goods. And if your family is hungry for a bite to eat, there will be the enough yummy treats, from sizzling boerewors rolls and fresh-out-of-the-pan pancakes with a variety of fillings to footlong cheesegrillers and expertly made sushi to tantalise tastebuds. The resident chef, Adrian will be whipping these and many other delectable dishes while the restaurant will serve dishes from the winter menu on a la carte menu.
Not to mention, come rain or shine, the event will go ahead as planned as Shimmy has made provisions for any weather condition. All in all, attendees are set to have an amazing public holiday spent with family.
