The annual Harfield Village Carnival is back on Saturday, 14 April 2018. This means that the suburb’s vibey Second Avenue will be closed off to traffic for the day, the pavements will fill up with over 150 craft and food stalls, families will gather, and the whole village will come out to celebrate the most colourful occasion on its calendar.
With everything from delicious eats and craft beer, to home décor, art, clothing and live music on offer, there’s bound to be something for everyone, including the kiddies, the pets, gran and gramps.
All the money raised from this event goes towards the improvement of the area and various charities and schools, under the jurisdiction of the Harfield Village Association.
There’ll be live music throughout the day keeping things festive, while the designated play area, as well as a crèche on Lancaster Street, will keep the kids safe and entertained.
TICKETS FOR THE 2018 HARFIELD VILLAGE CARNIVAL
Entrance to the event is free! The festivities start at 9am, and, while the stalls will pack up at 6pm, the road will remain closed and the establishments will stay open until late.
