Greyton Creative Arts Festival

Buy artworks from well-known local artists at this historical town's popular paint fiesta

Visiting this quaint little dorpie is like stepping into the past: the water furrows that line the streets, the original mid-1800s cottages that continue to stand and the two old churches that are still used today all add a certain charm to the sleepy town. However, the streets will burst to life from Friday, 26, to Sunday, 28 August 2016 when the Greyton Creative Arts Festival returns.

Over 40 artists from the Overberg region are expected to showcase their work, along with various internationally acclaimed painters and sculptors. These artworks will be exhibited all over the town – from the Anglican Church and DRC halls to the small shops, restaurants and private homes of the residents. You can also expect an array of workshops for children and adults; craft markets with food stalls, vintage and second-hand art stalls; historic tours; and live music along the streets.

TICKETS FOR THE 2016 GREYTON CREATIVE ARTS FESTIVAL

Entry to the main exhibition hall is R10p/p and the workshops are individually priced. For more information, you can email the festival organisers at greytoncreative@yahoo.com, or phone them on +27(0)83 280 1109.
