‘Give me one good reason why I should never change?’ The fresh-faced English singer has captured many hearts around the world with his catchy tunes. You may not know the face of George Ezra, but you certainly know the voice, and you can experience both live in concert at the Durbanville Racecourse on Saturday, 29 August 2015.
For those not in the know, the soulful bluesy singer released his debut album Wanted on Voyage which gave the world the top ten hit ‘Budapest’, the catchy lyrics of which most of us still have running through our minds. The 21 year-old is going on tour to promote his latest album and showcase his unforgettable voice. Seed Experiences, the organisers behind Ben Howard’s concert and Rocking the Daisies are setting the perfect wintry festival atmosphere for the one night only gig.
Ezra has been nominated for numerous awards including a BBC Music Award for Song of The Year and landed a British Breakout Act nomination from the Brit Awards. He first captured the attention of mainstream media and record execs when he starting uploading his tunes to YouTube. His debut album has now sold 1 million copies in the UK and claimed the number one spot in his native country.
Do note that the event is outdoors and patrons are encouraged to bring picnic baskets to the venue or to get tasty treats from the stalls serving yummy nosh. Disabled facilities are available and for more information regarding that email hello@weareseed.co.za.
