After the turbulent year that was 2016, we should all strive to start 2017 with some positivity and light. On that note, and on Sunday, 12 February 2017, join the party on Camps Bay Beach for a sunset and full moon meditation session.
Connecting with nature is one of the pillars of meditation and what better way to do that than with practising the ancient art in the great outdoors and all of its splendour. Come together for change and celebrate the New Year (and all of its challenges) with peace, love and unity. After the meditation, the organisers have arranged a band, drumming and fire dancers to round off the evening spent under the stars.
This guided meditation will see instructors take the group for a shared reflection session, with some Acro-Yoga, Hooping, Qigong thrown in. Just to reiterate, this is not a yoga lesson; it is simply a collective meditation-based experience. Allow yourself a moment of silence to think and prepare for 2017, and all the challenges it has thrown at you so far. Remember that there is nothing better than a good cup of tea to heal (this coming from an English person). If tea isn’t your thing, try meditation.
