Francois van Coke and Karen Zoid Toe Vind Ek Jou Concert

Afrikaans rock at its best!

Francois van Coke is a name synonymous with the South African rock music scene and has been for many years. He and Karen Zoid (a star in her own right) are teaming up to bring you a true rock’n’roll concert that will not disappoint. On Saturday, 25 June 2016, these legends will be performing at GrandWest Grand Arena for one night only.

Whether you know van Coke as a solo artist, or the lead singer of the immensely popular rock band Fokofpolisiekar, he is a South African icon nevertheless. His most famous hits coming from both his solo career and his band career have entranced audiences all over the world.

Don’t bother lying; we know you watch Karen Zoid on M-Net’s The Voice SA every Sunday. SA’s ‘Queen of Rock’ is back and she’s ready to knock your socks off. Support your favourite judge by enjoying a true and authentic rock experience, South Africa style.

Their recent collaboration broke all the records that preceded it. ‘Toe Vind Ek Jou’ has now reached over 1.5 million views on YouTube, and has proven popular with audiences both Afrikaans and otherwise. It is the only Afrikaans release in SA history to reach number one status on the commercial radio top charts.

Tickets are available online through computicket.com, and cost R200p/p to R300p/p depending on where you elect to sit or stand. The show starts at 8pm, and runs for about two and a half hours.
