#FestiveFriday at La Petite Ferme in Franschhoek

Everybody likes a little festivity on a Friday!

La Petite Ferme in Franschhoek is one of the many wineries in the area with stunning views. What does La Petite Ferme (LPF) have that none of the others do? Well, #FestiveFriday of course. These soirees are going off on selected Fridays from Friday, 9 December 2016 to Friday, 13 January 2017.

To go with the occasion, LPF have developed delicious cocktails to put you in the mood for summer and for the festive season. It’s probably a stupid question but, do you want to know more? Of course you do, so feast your eyes on these delightful concoctions:

The Pretty Lisa is a vodka based cocktail that includes lime juice and lemonade. Not only that, but it also contains strawberries and some fresh basil. Yum!

The Mariano is also a vodka based cocktail but this time it combines berries, mango lime juice and fresh mint. It sounds like the perfect summer concoction!

The Spa brings together one of Cape Town’s favourite spirits, gin, and pairs it with cucumber juice, lime juice, fresh  mint and a little bit of sugar to balance the acid. Refreshing just like a real spa!

The Garden offers you the chance to choose between gin and vodka. Either of these lovely spirits blend well with grapefruit, lime juice, mixed peppers and coriander. This very healthy cocktail is the perfect accompaniment to a warm summer evening in one of the Cape’s loveliest areas.

Served along with those delicious drinks is a selection of locally produced yummies for you to nibble on and enjoy while you take in the sensational views. Franschhoek truly is one of the most beautiful areas of the Cape and there isn’t much you additionally need to make the time you spend there as wonderful as the views.
