Tobago’s Restaurant at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront is hosting another Saturday Supper Club dinner on Saturday, 26 August 2017 at 6.30pm.
The Saturday Supper Club continues this month at the popular seaside venue with wines from Montpellier. Chef Norman Heath will put his magical culinary skills to use by matching four different Montpellier wines with three scrumptious courses. Expect tons of culinary creativity from this renowned chef, which is guaranteed to be a food and wine adventure worth remembering.
Every month the Saturday Supper Club pairs the wine of a different farm or estate with a bespoke menu. Diners can look forward to a deliciously crafted menu, designed to perfectly complement Montpellier’s wine. Chef Norman will give patrons a brief introduction to the menu as well as the various wines served on the night.
Montpellier’s award-winning wines reflect the unique terroir of the Tulbagh Valley where this historical wine estate is located. The rich soil variety is perfect for the production of an assorted range of top quality wines.
Chef Norman Heath began his culinary career at the Royal Hotel in Durban, with a formal qualification from the International Hotel School. His menus are a combination of bold flavours and quality local products and always finished off with delicious desserts. Chef Norman’s own favourite dish is smoked snoek and banana maki. Wonder if that’s on the Saturday Supper Club menu?
This is the fourth in a series of five events.
