Sip mimosas and brunch with fun friends in the outside courtyard for lazy Sunday brunch

The Sunday Social Brunch is back again on Sunday, 25 June 2017 and it’s going down at HQ Restaurant on Shortmarket Street in the CBD. Trust us when we say that there is nothing quite like a Sunday Social Brunch, complete with a stunning menu, location and atmosphere.

You’ll be treated, on arrival, to an HQ Mimosa with Orange Foam (sounds delicious!) because brunch without mimosas is like summer without sunshine; it simply doesn’t make sense. For starters, which will be served to share, HQ have organised Fruit Skewers with Minted Honey Drizzle, Granola Pots with Berry Compote, Mini Quiche with Roasted Peppers and Chorizo, and Roasted Corn, Chilli Feta and Herb Loaf with a Biltong Pate.

There will also be a Bloody Mary station, and a Belvedere Vodka Cocktail station for you to enjoy throughout the day. They’ll go amazingly well with the main course, which is served per person. The options are Cajun Chicken Flat Bread with Apricot Compote, Roasted Pork Belly Benedict, Wild Mushroom Benedict, or the HQ Prego Steak Roll.

The meal is rounded off by some yummy sweets which are once again served to share. They include Banana, Rum and Coconut Panna Cotta, Apple Tartlets, Belgium Waffles and Orange French Toast with Orange Liqueur Creme Anglaise.

If your mind is on what you’re going to drink, then you’ll be happy to know that this brunch is sponsored by Moët & Chandon, so there will be plenty of bubbly to see you through the day. HQ are also offering 1.5 litre cocktail jugs that come in various flavours - Belvedere Smoked Bloody Mary, Raspberry Infused Belvedere and Pimms Punch and Belvedere and Passion Fruit Crush with Campari and Apple Juice.

Bookings can be made directly with HQ, and you can make a booking through their website - Hqrestaurant.co.za. The Sunday Social Brunch is priced per person at R285p/p, with all food and the welcome drink as well as all live entertainment being included.
